How Did Pterosaurs Grow Up?
First things first: Pteranodon was a pterosaur, not a dinosaur. No Pteranodon nest has been found so far. But scientists do know about eggs from other pterosaurs – in China, they found hundreds in one spot! The eggs had soft, leathery shells, a lot like many reptiles today. Some scientists think pterosaur babies could fly pretty early. Whether parents cared for them the way our picture shows is still an open question.
Fun Ideas for Your Finished Nest Page
