Full-color paper squishy template of a sitting white lamb with curly wool and a light face, front and back, printable

Cloud-like curls, a soft face and tiny hooves โ€“ the lamb is the cuddliest squishy in the farm set. Stuffed with fiberfill, it feels almost like real sheep's wool. A lovely spring and Easter craft, and just as fun for sheep fans any time of year.

How to make the lamb squishy

1
Print at 100% (actual size); on the coloring version, color face and hooves โ€“ the wool can stay white or turn gray, brown or black.
2
Cut the wavy edge along the outer line; it's fine to go around the little bumps in smooth curves.
3
Cover front and back completely with wide packing tape or laminate them.
4
Stack both pieces, tape all around and leave about 1 inch open at the bottom mark.
5
Stuff it fluffy with fiberfill and tape the opening closed.

Safety: Stuffing, tape and small parts are not for children under 3.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

  • White fiberfill shows through light paper a little and makes the lamb look extra woolly.
  • All those curly bumps are the tricky part โ€“ preschoolers can simply cut along the white border.
  • Not for kids under 3: fiberfill and tape are small parts.
  • Print the mini page a few times for a whole flock in a group setting.

What kids practice

The curly edge is perfect for practicing even, rounded cuts. While coloring, kids learn that sheep come in white, brown and black. And here's a fun fact: a lamb knows its mother by her voice, even in a big flock.

๐Ÿ”„ Variations & Ideas

Black sheep
Color one mini lamb completely dark โ€“ the one special sheep in the flock.
Easter basket
Tuck a lamb squishy into an Easter basket, maybe next to the hatching chick squishy.
Real wool
Glue a few strands of white yarn onto the curly head before taping, for something to touch.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is the back white in the color version too?
The lamb has white wool, so the back is a white curly shape with a black outline. You can color it light gray or cream if you like.

How full should I stuff it?
Loosely, so the lamb is nice and squishy. A few cotton balls are enough for the large lamb.

Is the lamb good for Easter?
Yes, a lamb is a classic Easter symbol. The minis also work for an Easter tree or table decoration.

Is the download free?
Yes, all templates on PureSketchy are 100% free for personal, preschool and classroom use โ€“ no sign-up needed.
