Fun Facts About T-Rex and Triceratops
T-Rex and Triceratops really did live at the same time and place: the very end of the Cretaceous period, about 68 to 66 million years ago, in western North America. Triceratops means “three-horned face.” It grew about 26 to 30 feet long, ate plants, and had a large bony frill on its neck. T-Rex was a meat-eater, so in real life these two probably weren’t friends. But on our page, friendship wins!
