Free Printable Farm Field, Garden and Harvest Coloring Pages
Eleven easy pages are made for the youngest: the vegetable patch, pulling carrots, the pumpkin patch, picking strawberries, a stack of hay bales, and a watering can with flowers. There's also a child planting seeds, a waving scarecrow, a big sunflower with a bee, cabbage, lettuce and kohlrabi, and tomatoes in the garden. In spring, these pages pair perfectly with a kid's very first flowerpot.
Preschool and elementary kids will find the potato harvest, an apple tree with a ladder, a greenhouse, a cornfield with a scarecrow, and a husked ear of corn. The vegetable garden with raised beds, the bean vines on a pole, and the farm track between the fields are here too. Older kids can color the wheat field, the sunflower field, the rapeseed field in spring, the meadow orchard, the herb garden, the farm fruit basket, and the harvest festival wagon.
Two explainer pages make farming easy to understand: “From Grain to Bread” and “Potato Plant with Tubers Explained.” Bees play a huge part in the harvest: they pollinate fruit trees and many other plants, and without them there would be far fewer apples and cherries. Bees even do a little dance to show their sisters where the flowers are. They build their honeycomb from wax that they make on their own bellies.
