Deep Sea Coloring Pages – Mysterious Creatures from the Dark
The deep sea is the largest and least explored habitat on our planet. Thousands of meters down it is dark, cold and the pressure is enormous – and yet countless fascinating animals live there. Our deep sea coloring pages show anglerfish, lanternfish, giant squid, dumbo octopuses and many more creatures that look like they came from another planet.
One special theme is bioluminescence: many deep-sea animals can make their own light to lure prey, hide or talk to each other. That is wonderful to recreate when coloring – a dark background with glowing dots in yellow, turquoise or neon green looks spectacular.
The designs are a little more detailed and suit school-age kids who are excited about science, submarines and undiscovered worlds. Like every page on PureSketchy, they are free to print.
