A big round face, a water spout on top, and a wide smile β with this printable whale mask, kids become the gentle giants of the sea. Color it, cut it out, and add elastic. This free whale mask template is perfect for an under-the-sea party, preschool, and dress-up.
Why This Whale Is So Gentle
The big, round whale face is one huge shape that two-year-olds love to color. The spout on top is made of a few thick drops β a fun detail in light blue. A wide smile makes the whale the friendliest giant in the ocean. It's a simple, round shape that's easy to cut out too.

Play Ideas for Little Whales
In a spout game, whales dive under a blanket and pop back out with a loud whoosh and arms flung high. Hum a deep whale song together. Glide slowly through a sea of blue scarves like giant whales. Then open wide and scoop up paper fish.
Fun Facts About Whales
Whales aren't fish β they're mammals that breathe air through a blowhole. The spout isn't water squirting from their mouths but exhaled breath with tiny water droplets. The blue whale is the biggest animal that has ever lived on Earth β bigger than any dinosaur. Even so, it eats mostly tiny shrimp-like creatures called krill. Humpback whales sing long, mysterious songs that travel far underwater.
