A round head and exactly eight chunky, curly arms β with this printable octopus mask, kids can wave hello eight times over. Color it, cut it out, and add elastic. This free octopus mask template is perfect for an under-the-sea party, preschool, and dress-up.
Why This Octopus Is So Much Fun
The eight chunky arms are clearly separated and hang down and to the sides in a silly way. Since they're drawn so wide, even little kids can color each arm a different color. The round head on top is one big, simple shape. It's a great mask for counting to eight along the way.

Play Ideas for Little Octopuses
Count the eight octopus arms together. Do an octopus dance, wiggling arms and legs like tentacles. In a color-change game, someone calls out a color and all the octopuses quickly touch a scarf in that color. Then crawl into a pillow cave to hide like a real octopus.
Fun Facts About Octopuses
An octopus has eight arms covered in suction cups that it uses to feel and even taste. Amazingly, it has three hearts and blue blood. Octopuses can change color in a flash to hide. Since they have no bones, they can squeeze through the tiniest gaps. And when danger comes, they squirt a cloud of ink and swim away.
