No snow outside? Then hold an elf snowball fight in the living room. Two teams, soft snowballs and a referee who calls “Ice age!”
📦 What's in the Set
The indoor snowball fight comes with game rules, a scoreboard for five rounds, team flags, a winner certificate and an honor certificate. You throw cotton or crumpled paper, never real snow.
All Pages in This Set
Setup with snowballs made of cotton or paper, a center line and two teams, plus five play steps from the start signal “Snow go!” to scoring.
A board for five rounds plus a total, and flags whose tabs wrap around a toothpick.
A certificate for the winning team with points, date and referee, and an honor certificate for brave fighters.
- Printer and paper (US Letter or A4; heavy cardstock (65–110 lb) for sturdy pieces)
- Colored pencils or markers
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Cotton or white paper for snowballs
- Pillows or tape for the center line
- Toothpicks for the flags
🏡 Setup Idea at the Elf Door
Lay a center line with pillows or tape across the room and clear away anything breakable. Each kid gets about five snowballs, and each team gets a side and a flag.
🎲 Play Idea With the Set
On “Snow go!” the snowballs fly to the other side, and after a minute the referee calls “Ice age!” Then you count: the team with the fewest snowballs on its side wins the round. The points go on the board.
💡 Tips
- Throw only soft snowballs and never aim at the head. That keeps it a game for everyone.
- Cut roughly first, then trim along the lines. That keeps tiny pieces neat.
- Store finished pieces in an envelope or cookie tin so the set is ready to go next year.

Can kids cut the pieces out themselves?
With kid-safe scissors that usually works from about age 5. Younger kids color, and you do the cutting.

Everything is elf-sized, roughly as big as a yogurt cup. Print at 100% and turn off “fit to page,” or the pieces shrink.
