🧺 What You Need
  • Printer and paper (US Letter or A4; heavy cardstock (65–110 lb) for sturdy pieces)
  • Colored pencils or markers
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • String for hanging the garland
  • Pencil for poking holes

🏡 Setup Idea at the Elf Door

Poke two holes at the top of the planets (adults help), thread a string through and hang the garland over the elf door. Add the “Space Station” sign.

🎲 Play Idea With the Set

The elf launches on a mission every night. Kids write the mission on the astronaut ID, maybe the Moon, Mars or the North Pole. Every morning they cross off a box on the countdown card.

💡 Tips

  • Hang the garland on a long string and the planets will swing with every draft.
  • Print at 100% and switch off “fit to page” so the pieces stay elf-sized.
  • Cut roughly first, then trim along the lines. That keeps tiny pieces neat.

Can we reuse the set next year?
