Is a Rubber Duck a Little Dinosaur?
Kind of! Birds are descended from small, feathered dinosaurs – so scientists actually count them as dinosaurs. And ducks are birds! Here’s something cool: an early relative of ducks and geese lived during the time of the dinosaurs. Its fossils were found in Antarctica. So the rubber duck in the tub has real prehistoric relatives. They just couldn’t squeak!
