What Was a Baby T-Rex Like?
Even the mighty T-Rex started out small: it hatched from an egg. No T-Rex egg has been found yet, but scientists think baby tyrannosaurs were only about 3 feet long – tail included! The little ones probably had longer legs for their size and were quicker than their heavy parents. Some scientists think baby T-Rexes might have been fuzzy, but nobody knows for sure. A T-Rex wasn’t fully grown until it was about 20 years old.
