This free feelings mask template helps little kids recognize pride and build confidence, making it ideal for circle time and SEL lessons.

Why This Feelings Mask Builds Confidence

The lifted chin and proud smile clearly show how good it feels to accomplish something. The stars on the cheeks are little winner's badges that kids love to color gold. The mask is part of our feelings set and is perfect for celebrating everyday wins โ€“ from putting on shoes alone to finishing a block tower. It helps kids learn to feel proud of themselves.

Activities About Feeling Proud

In an I-can-do-it circle, each child shows something they can do by themselves while everyone cheers. Strike a proud superhero pose โ€“ chest out and chin up. Build a star wall where each child adds a paper star for something they accomplished. Then take turns telling each other what the other person did great.

Fun Facts About Pride

Pride is the great feeling we get when we've accomplished or learned something. People all over the world show pride in similar ways: with a raised chin, standing tall, and a smile. Researchers have even seen blind athletes strike the same proud pose after winning, even though they've never seen it. For kids, it's especially valuable when adults praise their effort, not just the result. That helps them feel brave enough to try hard things.
